No matter how much your parents screwed you over or screwed you up, there comes a point where you have to own your shit. Where you take responsibility and set out to fix whatever broken thing you got handed, because it’s what you’re stuck with. Because if you want something better, you’re going to have to make it happen. Because no one else can fix it, and chances are, no one else gives enough of a shit to do it for you.
