I just got back from spending a few days out of town with my lovely Tillie. And the word that I can use to best describe it was “quiet”.
Now, I don’t mean that as anything but a compliment. To me, there isn’t really anything more I could ask of a vacation: the ability to actually relax, decompress, and get some sleep. “Quiet” is the biggest thing I want out of my adult life.
So . . . ignoring, for a moment, what it says about me that the most I want out of life is some peace and quiet, that means that Tillie gave me the thing I want most out of life.
Ergo, BEST. VISIT. EVER.
Because there was pizza and movies and doing our nails, a quiet space, a good night’s sleep, and shared laughter. I can’t really ask for more than that. Well . . . unless it’s just more.
